This Z bow solid foam collar has been built on spec and is now complete.
Totally awesome performance during water testing saw her achieve 43 knots in a one metre swell. Full lock at 30 knots and she cornered like she was on rails. On the second day of testing was in 30 knot conditions and she cruised comfortably at 28 knots no problem. All who have been aboard or driven this vessel get off saying one thing, 'This is the best monohull I have ever been on!' Plus, Fuel consumption she used 18 litres per hour @ 23 knots!!
She is quite unique in that she has incorporated a Z bow along with a two stepped hull.
Firstly, the “Wave Piercing Z Bow” is an integral part of the vessel’s structure which has a sharp entry and full topsides above the chine, which, in conjunction with the extra waterline length, contributes to the awesome performance in adverse conditions.
The stepped hull benefits higher levels of comfort and better fuel efficiency. The consistent plane improves visibility making handling easier at any speed, and the reduced friction results in softer landing when travelling at high speeds, with less pitching, slamming and spray.
This vessel achieved 43 knots with ease and will make an excellent chase boat, rescue vessel, high speed water taxi, dive or fishing vessel plus so much more. A very versatile rig with ride, handling and speed as her forte.
Please note: This vessel is also available in 8.5 metre, 10.5 metre and 12 metre. It is also available in HDPE
