Available now is a used AirBerth boat lift system designed to suit vessels up to 15 metric tonnes. This innovative floating dry-docking system provides a practical alternative to traditional antifouling programs and allows owners to keep their vessel completely clear of the water between uses.
Suitable for a wide range of commercial and recreational vessels, the AirBerth is equally at home supporting charter vessels, commercial work boats, eco-tourism vessels, passenger boats, fishing vessels and private craft.
By lifting the hull clear of the water after every use, the system helps reduce marine growth, minimise ongoing maintenance costs and improve vessel performance. Operators can often extend periods between slipping and antifouling while maintaining a cleaner hull and greater fuel efficiency.
The AirBerth system is designed for simple operation.
Drive the vessel onto the submerged berth, secure the positioning lines and connect the portable blower box. The blower box rapidly fills the flotation chambers with air, lifting the vessel and AirBerth completely out of the water. Within minutes, the AirBerth moulds to the hull, centres the vessel and creates a secure, stable dry-storage platform.
The result is a stable, dry storage platform that allows easy boarding and improved vessel access.
Drive the vessel onto the submerged AirBerth and secure the positioning ropes.
Connect the portable blower box hoses to the primary flotation chambers.
Air displaces the water from the flotation chambers and the AirBerth rises, automatically centring and supporting the vessel.
The vessel is fully elevated above the water, providing a safe and stable storage platform ready for immediate redeployment.
