This New build fast Catamaran designed to take 4 x 300hp outboards. Without a doubt, her huge 5 metre beam makes her an excellent choice for the following uses.
A patrol boat,
Coastguard and police
Customs vessel,
Crew transfer
Utility vessel.
Firstly, a coxswain can drive her and, she is a dream to handle. Secondly, she features the latest technology solid foam collar. (Samples in the picture) Built with our Z-Bows or conventional bow (both pictured) Thirdly, the floodlit cockpits feature heavy duty sampson posts. Additionally they have quick release hooks for towing. Finally, a rope storage winch is in a dedicated underfloor locker so as not to impact on useful deck area.
Additionally, other cockpit features include:
Fold down seating, large (stretcher friendly)
Boarding doors to both sides
A secondary helm location for use during short handed docking and towing operations. This optional.
Cabin Details
Uniquely, the cabin is as narrow as practical to allow safe recessed walkways down the sides of the vessel. Equally as important, these walkways extend up side stairs to foredeck which as open as possible. And then there's the recessed Anchor handling gear. Finally, there is a choice of 1m, 600mm or inset pilot boat style grab rails with life line tracks.
Design
Like much of the boat’s details, the interior layout can ordered to suit. Coupled with Shoxs military grade helm and Nav chairs. Also side coaming mounted jump seats. Uniquely, these jump seats fold down to form a stretcher and a large removable chart or control table. Furthermore, this also includes fixed seating, dedicated radios, computer power sockets and dedicated plotter.
The floors include clear space big enough for a standard stretcher (with tie down points). In addition, the ceiling has CTMD standard full length grab rails, white and coloured LED lighting. Furthermore it has a retractable black out screen around the helm and Nav station too. This allows for safe operation when you need full light in the rest of the cabin.
Up Front
Forward both vessels feature:
Gear lockers
Galley space
Enclosed bathroom with hot and cold shower
Bunk space for crew or rescued passengers.
Power train
Besides building a great hull, these vessels feature outboard engines. This allows cost effective operation by a coxswain. Also, installation of dynamic positioning includes joystick-based control systems. This allows for rapid replacement in the event of engine failure.
Your Choice of Inboards options. Depending on target speeds, the vessels work well with either :
Water jets
Heavy duty Konrad style stern legs. Either option would free up transom space to allow a large boarding platform. This in turn makes for easier towing or carrying a small tender.
