The advantages of Polyethylene is it is extremely impact-resistant, and I would go as far as to say that poly boats are virtually indestructible and offer zero corrosion. HDPE is not affected by salt, oxygen and water. It also offer a low carbon footprint and is recyclable and is both marine growth and UV resistant.
Design
This 6.5 Mtr HDPE Work Punt is our latest design and is also available in Ally if preferred
(Click Here to View Alloy Version) and features a number of modification and updates.
Firstly, we have put a small vee in the bottom of the hull. This has been a huge success in reducing the slamming you get from flat bottomed punts. The ride in this vessel is just so much better.
We have also included two steps, one either side of the outboard which make access much easier. Outboard is also now protected by a bumper bar. This fully sealed self draining deck with AMSA compliant foam under (Foam is also under the gunwales)
We also have GA for twin outboards with centre console which can be sent on request.
