Qualities of this vessel
I have been on the 7.5 mtr version of this vessel and can say it is one of the best handling vessels I have ever been on. It was the success of this 7.5 mtr version along with 2 x 8 mtr fire rescue vessels that has led to the building of this vessel.

- Firstly, this vessel is designed with the unique Zbow which is designed for wave piecing. The purpose is to reduce vertical accelerations which increases passenger comfort. Furthermore, there is an underlying principle behind the Z bow. This is, quite simple and easy to fathom. To not cause an increase in the weight or length of the vessel, the z-bow allows the hulls length to stretch and be finer. Lastly, it is that a vessel can pierce through waves, this of course beats crashing into them. This slight difference goes a long way in helping to have a smooth and efficient ride.

- This HDPE 40 Passenger Vessel is constructed in HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) It has a lifespan of up to 50 years does not corrode. No need to Anti foul. No Electrolysis. HDPE is a thermoplastic material thus workable recycling is available. It is tough flexible, and resistant to bumps and scratches and it won't get punctured by rocks and other sharp objects. Equally important, the carbon footprint is five times lower than that of aluminium. A HDPE hull is smooth, and it is completely resistant to marine growth. This material does not have any chronic disease like delamination of GRP or “Osmosis”.
